We're looking for an experienced Group Financial Accountant who believes in delivering exceptional service, has a passion for metrics and figures, and is confident in financial reporting across a multi-divisional business. You'll work closely with all other teams within the business, playing a key role in the preparation of statutory accounts and the completion of Group audits. You'll sit within the Group Finance team, providing clear financial insight and dependable support during reporting and audit cycles. This is a hands-on role with real breadth, offering exposure to a dynamic, international business. Suited to a technical accountant who has either qualified and developed in industry or someone looking to move on from practice.
Your main tasks will include:
- Prepare and consolidate the monthly Group management accounts and annual statutory accounts
- Prepare external reporting packs including covenant commitments
- Prepare the monthly and annual Group Intercompany reconciliations
- Assist the Group Financial Controller with the annual audit process including preparation of financial statements and assisting auditors with timely and accurate information
- Provide information for corporation tax purposes to external tax advisers and review tax computations
- Own the posting of Group payroll costs and associated balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with VAT and Corporation Tax compliance across the UK and relevant EU jurisdictions
- Reconcile tax balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Contribute to ad hoc projects as directed by the Group Financial Controller and Group CFO
