This role is to develop and deliver the defined sponsorship strategy across the business. This includes responsibility for negotiating, managing, and activating global motorsport partnerships to maximize value across all markets and business units.
This role serves as the motorsport sponsorship subject matter expert, collaborating with stakeholders to build impactful activation strategies. Where needed, the role will lead activation directly or develop toolkits and partner closely with execution teams across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the sponsorship strategy, aligned with overall brand partnership strategy and business objectives
- Negotiate and manage global sponsorship contracts, building strong partner relationships
- Support and advise on local sponsorship agreements
- Drive sponsorship investments toward measurable business outcomes by establishing and tracking KPIs, including ROI
- Leverage data‑driven insights to evaluate performance and ensure alignment with commercial and marketing goals
- Lead the development of sponsorship activation strategies and performance reporting across all properties (e.g., F1, NBA)
- Develop sponsorship toolkits and communication frameworks
- Manage agency relationships and collaborate with motorsport technology teams and Global Account Management teams
- Identify efficiencies and promote best practice sharing across the organization
- Ensure all programs comply with company E&C, HSE&C, cybersecurity, and financial policies
- Proactively manage risk and support incident response planning through stakeholder collaboration
Key Requirements
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in sponsorship and motorsport marketing, ideally within global organizations
- 7+ years managing agency relationships or complex vendor ecosystems
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or a related field
