Role Purpose

Own the group's tax reporting, including current and deferred tax provisioning, effective tax rate management, Pillar Two Glo BE compliance, and CFO/Board-facing tax reporting, while establishing and maintaining a standalone group tax reporting capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage the group tax reporting cycle (quarterly and annual current and deferred tax provisioning, effective tax rate analysis) across all entities, consolidating regional inputs into group results.
  • Own Pillar Two / Glo BE compliance, including scoping, data collection, safe harbor assessments, top‑up tax calculations, and filings across all in‑scope jurisdictions, partnering with regional teams to ensure data quality.
  • Build and maintain the CFO‑facing tax dashboard and Board reporting package, translating complex tax matters into clear business risks and value‑driven insights.
  • Manage the group's tax accounting policies and judgments, including uncertain tax positions and deferred tax asset valuation allowances, in accordance with the applicable accounting framework.
  • Coordinate with Treasury and Finance on the interaction between tax reporting and financing structures.
  • Lead relationships with external auditors regarding group tax provisions and financial statement disclosures.

This is a global consolidation role requiring working knowledge of Pillar Two implementation across major jurisdictions (including the UK, U.

S., Germany, India, China, and others), as well as local statutory tax accounting requirements that feed into consolidated reporting.

  • Key Business Considerations
  • Establish and maintain a robust standalone tax reporting framework.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting on effective tax rate, cash tax, and Pillar Two compliance for executive leadership and investors.
  • Support a complex global business operating across multiple jurisdictions, manufacturing operations, intellectual property, royalty arrangements, and intercompany financing structures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified accountant or tax professional (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in group tax reporting and Pillar Two implementation.
  • Experience supporting a private equity‑backed organization, infrastructure investment, carve‑out, IPO, or similarly complex business environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical expertise in tax accounting standards (IFRS and/or U. S. GAAP) and deferred tax accounting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex tax matters to executive leadership and Boards.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related discipline.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and relevant tax reporting software.
