Teaching Assistant

Role Overview: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Your primary responsibilities may also include providing one-on-one and group support to students with additional learning needs, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere, and assisting with classroom management., + Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.

• Provide individualised support to students with additional learning needs (ASD, PMLD, ADHD, VI etc.)

• Be willing to work with ALN pupils on a 1-2-1 and group work basis.

• Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.

• Help with classroom organisation and maintaining a safe learning environment.

• Observe and record student progress to inform teachers and parents.

• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure effective teamwork., Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a wide range of SEN experience?

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
