The Director of Finance leads the strategic planning and execution of all financial activities to drive business growth and operational excellence. This role partners with executive leadership to deliver financial insights, manage risks, and ensure compliance, while fostering investor relations and supporting expansion initiatives.
- Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with company business goals to drive sustainable growth
- Lead and guide the executive and finance teams to deliver accurate financial insights and operational support
- Collaborate with the CEO and senior executives to identify financial opportunities and address challenges strategically
- Oversee preparation and review of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to ensure timely and accurate financial planning
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to maintain operational stability and support business needs
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning to support strategic decision-making
- Identify, assess, and manage financial risks by implementing effective mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards through accurate and timely reporting
- Supervise accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger to maintain financial integrity
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency
- Provide commercial insights and financial leadership to exceed business plan targets and enhance profitability
- Embed and operationalize the risk and compliance management framework across the Group
- Build and nurture relationships with senior management, external partners, and stakeholders to support business objectives
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for growth, including mergers and acquisitions, to expand the company’s portfolio
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably within the entertainment and F&B sectors
- Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic business decisions
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and risk management practices
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic and forward-thinking mindset
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders
