We produce lightweight foams for various markets including sports and leisure, aviation, automotive and healthcare. Zotefoams also owns and licenses patented technology and sells advanced insulation systems.

About the Role:

In this role you will manage the Supply Chain function effectively and deliver market leading high-quality customer satisfaction together with active working capital management. You will cultivate an environment of continuous improvement, challenging existing practice and championing best in class practices and task resolution.

Role Responsibilities:

Leadership

1. To develop a world class supply chain operation representing it within the Zotefoams business and fully contributing to organisational performance.
2. You will lead, engage and empower the supply chain staff, building high performance teams that are customer led and focused on quality and delivery.
3. In addition to assess long term supply chain options with recommendations of medium and long-term inventory, capacity investment, product demand, pricing strategies and management of conflicting capacity demands.

OHSE

1. Work collaboratively with OHSE to develop a safe and environmentally aware culture across the supply chain services ensuring adherence to external and internal standards and requirements.

Supplier Management

1. Continuously add value and reduce risk to the supply chain through the commercial sourcing of alternative materials, simplification of supply/processing routes and long-term forecast price negotiation.
2. Coordination of NPD supply chain development (through the APQP process) from speculative trialling through to product industrialisation.

Working Capital Management

1. Active management of all site inventory (except for engineering stores) to support OTIF optimum stocking, value held, quarantine stock management and inventory turns, ensuring adequate processes in place to ensure stock accuracy and management of age profile.

Planning

1. Management of the planning processes, ensuring that they are aligned with company OTIF objectives and optimise equipment utilisation, that they effectively monitor supplier scheduled performance and factory plan achievement & communicate plan deviation on delivery date by customer.

Experience and desirable skills:

1. Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
2. Knowledge of process improvement such as Lean techniques (VSM, Pull philosophy) applicable to SCM.
3. 5 years+ in management of supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
4. Experience of leading and managing teams.
5. Prior experience of making continuous improvements with structure and discipline.
6. Practical working knowledge of ERP systems, ideally at “super user” level.
7. Excellent communication and influencing skills, written and verbal.
