About the Role: We are seeking an Apprentice Mechatronics Maintenance Technician to join our team in Croydon. This is a hands-on role focused on developing your competence through structured learning and practical experience, aiming to become a fully qualified Mechatronics Maintenance Technician. You will work closely with experienced engineers and maintenance teams across the business.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work towards achieving ST1326, Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3
- Assist in regular plant inspections, help identify and address deficiencies
- Support safe working practices and ensure the plant is left in a safe condition
- Participate fully in training to gain skills required for electrical maintenance
- Learn and use specialist tools and procedures for varied maintenance tasks
- Complete college assignments and any required learning evidence
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime
- Develop understanding of the production process and H&S requirements
- Follow established company policies and procedures
- Build strong communication links within the team and wider business
