We’re looking for a strategic, commercially driven Head of Business Development to lead growth across our Construction and wider Industrial market segments. In this role, you’ll shape and execute a global strategy to increase Zotefoams’ market share. You’ll identify high-value opportunities, build strong partnerships, and work closely with technical teams to deliver innovative foam solutions that solve real-world challenges. As a key figure in the commercial function, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing the business pipeline and expanding our footprint—particularly across Europe and North America. Role Responsibilities
- Business Development & Strategy: Own and drive a business development strategy aligned to global growth objectives. Build a strong, sustainable pipeline of high-value opportunities in target markets. Develop new customer relationships and grow presence in underdeveloped territories. Position Zotefoams as an engineered solutions partner, offering bespoke support.
- Market Engagement & Innovation: Identify customer needs and collaborate with technical teams on tailored solutions. Present proposals with clear ROI and influence design and process choices. Monitor market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity. Contribute to product development and improvements that support commercial growth.
- Collaboration & Sales Enablement: Work closely with sales teams to ensure a smooth handover of new accounts. Support marketing initiatives and help shape the go-to-market approach. Provide insights and reporting on pipeline health, forecasts, and progress.
Qualifications/Experience
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a commercial or technical environment.
- Proven track record in business development, ideally in manufacturing or industrial markets.
- Experience building commercial strategies and leading teams.
- Demonstrated success in pipeline development and sales conversion.
- Confident working cross-functionally with marketing, sales and technical teams.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
