The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Form part of a small team, who are responsible for the procurement of electronic /mechanical components in accordance with the manufacturing requirements for a diverse product range including medical and aerospace applications.
The primary objective is to ensure that all daily purchasing activities are completed in a timely manner.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for On-Time Delivery of components and other materials to support production
- Placing/expediting orders with suppliers in line with the MRP system
- Assisting with RFQs from suppliers.
- Working closely with suppliers; monitoring and reviewing KPI’s
- Work with internal stakeholders to meet customer demand, escalating any issues.
- Review production shortages and overdue purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of the cost, quality and performance of materials purchased

- Good standard of Education
Skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience within a fast moving manufacturing role and MRP
Experience
- Previous experience is preferred but not essential as full training is given.
