The Laboratory technician will support production within a small team by ensuring that chemical processes are maintained within operating parameters to provide excellent product quality and high yield. Final testing of manufactured product and customer reporting to ensure customer and industry specifications are met.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Recording of data in accordance with approved standard operating procedures
  • Organisation of laboratory documentation
  • Chemical analysis of process solutions
  • Control of waste / effluent system
  • Reporting out of spec / process deviations
  • Renewal of process solutions
  • Testing of finished product to ensure compliance with industry standard
  • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and adherence with health and safety regulations
