This role is for a Director on the investment lending team, which provides loans of £5m-£100m across the UK, secured against income-producing property across the residential, commercial and leisure sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Originate and structure term investment loans within Zorin\’s lending appetite.
- Primary focus on loan sizes between £5m-£15m, originated via broker referrals and direct borrower relationships.
- Build financial models and prepare internal sighting and credit papers alongside team support.
- Bring new client relationships to Zorin (borrowers and brokers).
- Manage and further develop existing and new borrower and broker relationships.
- Raise awareness of Zorin\’s CRE product in the market and assist with marketing initiatives in order to achieve this and win new business.
- Assist with formulating Zorin\’s wider investment lending strategy.
- Lead ongoing relationship management.
- Assist, where required, with transaction execution including due diligence and legal documentation.
PREREQUISITES & QUALIFICATIONS
- Lead ongoing relationship management.
- Assist, where required, with transaction execution including due diligence and legal documentation.
- Several years\’ experience in senior / stretched senior investment loan origination at either a challenger bank, family office or debt fund.
- Demonstrable track record in £5m-£15m real estate market, with strong broker relationships.
- Strong credit, financial analysis and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Legal documentation skills.
- Experience in writing and presenting credit cases.
- Strong academic background.
