Als huisarts, general practitioner of family doctor werk je in een moderne eerstelijns‑praktijk waar persoonsgerichte zorg centraal staat. De patiëntenpopulatie is divers en biedt inhoudelijke afwisseling, van acute zorg tot chronische aandoeningen en preventieve consulten. Kleine medische ingrepen maken vanzelfsprekend deel uit van het werk, net als langdurige patiëntrelaties en continuïteit van zorg. Samenwerking staat voorop. Binnen de praktijk werk je nauw samen met andere huisartsen, verpleegkundigen en ondersteunende professionals. Alle disciplines bevinden zich onder één dak, waardoor afstemming soepel verloopt én verwijzen eenvoudig blijft. Digitale systemen ondersteunen het dagelijkse werk en houden administratie overzichtelijk, zodat de aandacht bij de patiënt blijft.
De werkweek telt 4 tot 5 dagen. Avond‑ en weekendbelasting blijft beperkt tot één avonddienst per week én één weekendochtend per vier weken. Geen bereikbaarheidsdiensten en geen structurele overbelasting.

Wat breng je mee?
- Afgeronde opleiding tot huisarts en geldige BIG‑registratie.
- Bereidheid om registratie in Nieuw‑Zeeland te verkrijgen.
- Ervaring of interesse in brede eerstelijnszorg.
- Communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels.
- Open houding ten aanzien van samenwerken en leren in een nieuw zorgsysteem.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Je werkt 32 uur per week. Jouw arbeidsvoorwaarden zijn niet gebonden aan een Nederlandse cao. Voor deze functie geldt een jaarlijks basissalaris van minimaal NZD 180.000 en maximaal NZD 230.000 bruto op fulltime basis. Omgerekend is dat ongeveer € 88.740 – € 113.390 bruto per jaar op basis van de huidige koers (december 2025).
Verder:
- Een royaal relocatiepakket (vergoeding van verhuiskosten en tijdelijke huisvestingskosten).
- Flexibele contractopties: kies jij voor een jaarcontract van 12 maanden of een vaste aanstelling?
- Maximaal 5 weken betaald verlof, plus studieverlof, alle nationale feestdagen en CME‑financiering.
- Ruimte voor professionele groei. Ontwikkel en verbreed special interesses naast je werk als allround huisarts.
