Your mission
This is a strategic role reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The Corporate Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with corporates, NGOs, financial institutions, government agencies, and other institutional stakeholders, exploring how investment in nature restoration can support their sustainability and strategic objectives.
The role will sit at the intersection of corporate sustainability strategy, natural capital markets, and landscape restoration, helping organisations understand how engagement with high-quality natural capital projects can support priorities such as climate transition, biodiversity commitments, water stewardship, and operational/asset risk management.
Your profile
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement Zora’s corporate engagement strategy for nature restoration and natural capital partnerships.
- Identify priority sectors where climate, biodiversity, water, or supply-chain risks create strong alignment with landscape restoration.
- Position Zora as a strategic partner capable of translating ecological science and analytics into credible nature-based solutions.
- Build and manage senior relationships with corporate sustainability leaders, NGOs, advisory firms, and policy stakeholders across the UK nature ecosystem.
- Develop strategic engagements that connect corporate sustainability priorities with Zora’s restoration projects and capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for corporates to engage with Zora’s project portfolio through long-term partnerships, pilots, and investment in restoration initiatives.
- Represent Zora across industry forums, partnerships, and policy discussions related to natural capital and corporate engagement in nature.
- Work closely with Zora’s commercial, science, analytics, and project teams to align corporate engagement with project development priorities.
Experience & Background
- Proven experience engaging corporates, NGOs or institutional stakeholders on sustainability, climate, biodiversity, or natural capital strategies.
- Strong understanding of the UK natural capital and nature restoration landscape across a broad range of NbS intervention types and ecosystems service outcomes.
- Familiarity with the evolving regulatory and policy frameworks shaping nature markets in the UK.
- Experience working across complex stakeholder environments involving corporates, NGOs, advisors, regulators, and land managers.
- Understanding of how corporates assess environmental risks and sustainability priorities.
- Experience developing strategic partnerships or collaborative initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across the nature and sustainability ecosystem.
- Experience producing high-quality strategic materials for senior audiences.
