We’re looking for a product designer to join a brand new team working to create an AI chatbot experience - something that has never existed before at Zopa! The AI chatbot experience will look to help people manage their money, meaning it needs to be able to present complex information back in a way that’s digestible and actionable for a customer.
There’s opportunity to challenge what a great chat UI interface looks like and work with our Design System UI designer to create new patterns and components. We're looking for an empathetic, critical thinker who is passionate about bringing real value to customers and is excited to join a mature design team with ambitious goals. This role will be reporting into one of our Senior Product Designers and will be expected to be in our office 2 days per week (ideally Tuesday and Thursday).
A day in the life:
- Owning the product design end-to-end, including discovery, ideation, delivery and iteration.
- Working to define the key ways our AI chatbot is going to respond to customer needs, and designing the relevant experiences and journeys.
- Working closely with the product team to align on objectives, hypotheses, success measures for this work.
- Conducting research and testing with current and future customers.
- UI design for the chat interaction, including data visualisation where needed.
- Working to support the evolution of our Design System in line with the requirements of the AI chat experience.
- Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders of all levels of seniority.
About you:
- You have a portfolio which demonstrates your end to end process and outcomes that you've driven.
- Have strong UI design or data visualisation skills and can evidence your experience in this area.
- Care deeply about solving customer problems and creating customer-centric products.
- You’re used to working on ambitious projects with a variety of stakeholders.
- Are passionate about inclusive design.
- You thrive working in fast paced environments as part of cross-functional teams with short feedback loops.
- Have a growth mindset and look for opportunities for team and personal development.
