Our Story

Hello there. We’re Zopa. We started our journey back in 2005, building the first ever peer-to-peer lending company. Fast forward to 2020 and we launched Zopa Bank. A bank that listens to what our customers don’t like about finance and does the opposite. We’re redefining what it feels like to work in finance. Our vision for a new era of banking puts people front and centre — we’ve built a business that empowers everyone to aim high, every day, to move finance forward.

We’re incredibly proud of our achievements and none of it would be possible without the amazing team here. It’s not just industry awards we’re winning, we’ve also been named in the top three UK’s Most Loved Workplaces. If you embrace unconventional challenges, are unafraid to think differently and are driven to make an outsized impact, you’ll thrive here at Zopa, so join us, and make it count.

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our Growth team and help us uncover, validate and scale opportunities that drive sustainable customer and commercial impact across Zopa’s products. You will work across multiple teams to improve acquisition, engagement and retention, shaping how we grow and how our customers experience Zopa. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining customer insight, experimentation and cross functional collaboration to deliver meaningful outcomes. If you love solving problems, testing ideas and making things better for customers, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role:

  • Drive cross product growth initiatives by identifying opportunities that enhance portfolio performance and increase customer lifetime value across our products.
  • Lead structured A/B and multivariate testing across journeys, validating hypotheses and scaling the initiatives that deliver measurable improvement.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing and Growth Marketing to design and deliver data informed campaigns across acquisition, engagement and retention.
  • Translate customer behaviour, performance data and market trends into clear recommendations that guide prioritisation across growth, retention and marketing initiatives.
  • Help foster a culture of experimentation and customer centric growth across teams.

About you:

  • A strong analytical foundation, comfortable working with numbers and using tools like Excel to explore data, form insights and shape recommendations.
  • The ability to turn complex data into clear stories, communicating confidently with senior stakeholders and influencing decision making.
  • Experience contributing as an individual contributor, driving your own work forward while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • A track record of owning projects that improve the commercial performance of a product or feature, from defining the strategy through to execution.
  • An interest in growth, customer behaviour and experimentation, using data and creativity to identify opportunities and deliver meaningful outcomes.

This role will give you:

  • The chance to build deep expertise in growth experimentation, user behaviour and lifecycle strategy across a multi product environment.
  • Exposure to a wide range of teams and disciplines, helping you develop as a well rounded growth specialist.
  • A clear path to evolve into a Product Manager or Growth Manager role, with increased ownership of product and lifecycle strategy.

At Zopa we value flexible ways of working. We value face-to-face collaboration and a good work-life balance. This hybrid role requires you to come to our London office 2-3 days a week. You'll also have the option of working from abroad for up to 120 days a year! But no matter where you are, we’ll make sure you’ve got everything you need to thrive, both in your work and home life, from day one.
