You’ll join Zopa’s Treasury team at an exciting stage of growth, gaining hands-on exposure across the full breadth of treasury activities, from liquidity and funding through to hedging, FTP and securitisation. This is a high-impact role in a small team where you’ll work closely with experienced Treasury leaders and quickly take on meaningful responsibility. You’ll get exposure across multiple areas of the function and the chance to own processes end to end. It’s a great opportunity for someone early in their Treasury career who wants to accelerate their development, broaden their technical experience and play a visible role in how a modern fintech bank manages its balance sheet. You’ll be joining at a particularly interesting time, with major funding and Treasury initiatives underway.
A day in the life:
- Producing and circulating daily MI covering Treasury activities, ensuring reporting is timely and accurate
- Supporting production of monthly ALCO packs and coordinating MI with stakeholders across the bank
- Supporting Treasury Managers across liquidity management, IRRBB, FTP reporting, HQLA activity and funding activity
- Managing Treasury cash balances and supporting operational cash movements
- Supporting ongoing hedge portfolio management activities including margin calls
- Working closely with teams across Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, IT and Legal
- Supporting Treasury projects and strategic initiatives as the bank continues to grow
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, automate processes and drive efficiencies
- Building confidence operating across a broad range of Treasury activities and projects
About you:
- You have experience working within a Treasury function in a bank, building society or similar financial services environment
- You’re excited by the opportunity to gain broad exposure across Treasury rather than working in a narrow silo
- Are proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities
- You enjoy solving problems, improving processes and working with data
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- You have strong Excel and quantitative skills with excellent attention to detail
- You work well with cross-functional teams and build relationships confidently
- You’re curious, adaptable and eager to learn new concepts, systems and processes
- You have an interest in AI tools and how they can improve operational efficiency
- You’re motivated by learning, development and being part of a collaborative team

- Experience with securitisation or secured funding reporting
- Exposure to investor relations activities
- Experience with Treasury systems such as ALMIS, SQL, Tableau or Anaplan
- Exposure to Bank of England reporting or collateral management activities
