The Team:
As an Associate Platform Engineer in our Cloud Infrastructure Team, your ultimate goal is to support and enhance the infrastructure that powers Zopa\’s applications and services. The team is dedicated to maintaining a robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure environment, ensuring that our applications run smoothly and efficiently.
The Role:
This associate-level role is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in cloud technologies and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools. You will play a key role in deploying and managing our AWS infrastructure, focusing primarily on Kubernetes clusters and other self-hosted environments. You will have the chance to learn and grow by automating repetitive tasks, managing containerised applications, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure our infrastructure aligns with business needs.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, has a growth mindset, and is passionate about cloud technologies. If you are ready to contribute to a dynamic team and expand your knowledge in a supportive environment, we would love to hear from you!
About You:
- Experience with version control tools like Git
- Proficiency in shell scripting
- Basic understanding of AWS services
- Experience with container technologies (in particular Docker)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (in particular Terraform)
- Basic networking knowledge
Added Bonus:
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Experience with Consul (service mesh) and Vault (secret management)
