Hello there. We’re Zopa. We started our journey back in 2005, building the first ever peer-to-peer lending company. In 2020 we launched Zopa Bank, a bank that listens to what our customers don’t like about finance and does the opposite. We’re redefining what it feels like to work in finance, with a people‑centred approach that aims high, every day, to move finance forward. Find out more about our offerings at Zopa.com.
What is a Graduate Analyst? At Zopa, our Graduate Analysts spark new ideas, shape disruptive strategies, and help build products our customers love. They combine creative problem solving with strong numerical skills, turning data into insights that drive business decisions. They are storytellers, learning to translate complex analysis into clear, engaging narratives for both technical and non‑technical audiences. With real autonomy and the chance to collaborate across all levels of the business, they have the chance to make an impact from day one.
Where will my journey begin?
- The Risk Lab: Use data, AI, and modelling to uncover opportunities to scale Zopa sustainably; apply GenAI to real business problems; prepare insights and engage with senior leaders to shape solutions to complex challenges.
- Credit Strategy: Sit at the heart of our profitability and shape how Zopa lends across its portfolio; refine lending approaches through modelling, testing, and analysis; partner with product leaders and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Analytics: Conduct exploratory analysis, A/B tests and build dashboards to support key decisions; translate complex data into clear stories; partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical briefs.
- Data Science: Design and deploy models that power Zopa’s products and strategies; experiment with machine learning, personalisation, and predictive modelling; work with product, engineering, and analytics teams to bring models to life.
Could you be our next Graduate Analyst?
- Numerically confident – you can handle A-level mathematics complexity.
- Analytical thinker – strong logic and critical thinking; you see opportunities in complex challenges and know how to break down and solve problems.
- Curious about analytics and AI – keen to learn Python or SQL and curious about how AI is shaping our future.
- Collaborative at heart – you love sharing ideas and perspectives to get the best results.
- Always improving – you’re always looking for ways to improve things around you and you adopt a growth mindset.
