The Role
You will join a high‑performing risk analytics team responsible for assessing credit risk of our assets across all lending products using the Expected Credit Loss framework, understanding and monitoring portfolio trends, market dynamics and macro‑economic environment.
Collaboration is key – you’ll work closely with cross‑functional analytical teams including data science, product, collections and finance to develop and drive innovative approaches to calculating impairment provisions while remaining compliant with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess credit risk of assets using the Expected Credit Loss framework.
- Monitor portfolio trends, market dynamics and macro‑economic environment.
- Collaborate with data science, product, collections and finance teams to develop and improve impairment provision calculations.
- Translate complex analytics into business insights to drive decision‑making.
- Use advanced statistical techniques to predict customer behaviour or forecast future losses.
- Continuously innovate ways of working and optimisation opportunities across the team.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
Qualifications
- Strong experience solving analytical and numerical problems, preferably in credit strategy or risk in a consumer lending environment.
- Knowledge of key IFRS9 modelling components (PD, LGD, EAD, Staging) – preferred.
- Proficiency in manipulating and analysing large datasets using SQL and/or Python.
- Experience in data visualisation and storytelling.
- High attention to detail and structured, holistic problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
- Curiosity, relentless drive to learn, improve and share knowledge.
- Collaborative mindset with cross‑functional teams (tech, data science, finance, product).
Flexible Ways of Working
Hybrid role – London office 2‑3 days a week. Option to work from abroad for up to 120 days a year. We’ll ensure you have everything you need to thrive, both at work and home.
