Hello there. We’re Zopa. We started our journey back in 2005, building the first ever peer-to-peer lending company. Fast forward to 2020 and we launched Zopa Bank. A bank that listens to what our customers don’t like about finance and does the opposite. We’re redefining what it feels like to work in finance. Our vision for a new era of banking puts people front and centre — we’ve built a business that empowers everyone to aim high, every day, to move finance forward.

We’re incredibly proud of our achievements and none of it would be possible without the amazing team here. It’s not just industry awards we’re winning, we’ve also been named in the top three UK’s Most Loved Workplaces. If you embrace unconventional challenges, are unafraid to think differently and are driven to make an outsized impact, you’ll thrive here at Zopa, so join us, and make it count.

What does an Analyst at Zopa do? At Zopa, our Analysts don’t just analyse the business – they help shape it. From designing our products and customer experiences, to deciding our lending criteria and target markets, our Analysts are at the heart of every major decision we make. You’ll combine creative problem solving with strong numerical and communication skills, turning data into insights and ideas into real-world impact. You’ll have meaningful ownership from the start, while learning from talented colleagues across the business.

How will we help you get started?

  • Your first four months will include a structured graduate training programme designed to give you a broad foundation across Analytics at Zopa.
  • You’ll rotate through four placements and complete a project for each, giving you the chance to apply your learnings to real business problems.
  • Training in relevant AI tool use is also part of each of the placements.

What teams do Graduate Analysts join at Zopa? After completing our training programme, you'll join one of our teams. As you grow, you'll have opportunities to explore new projects and internal moves. You can expect to:

  • Take real ownership from day one – using data to investigate problems, test ideas and recommend improvements to our products, customer experience and business performance.
  • Build your technical skills using cutting edge tools and techniques.
  • Turn data into insights and communicate these to stakeholders across functions and levels.

Could you be our next Graduate Analyst? We’re looking for people who are:

  • Numerically confident – comfortable working with mathematics at A-level complexity.
  • Analytical – able to break down complex challenges, apply logic and make thoughtful judgements.
  • Naturally curious – keen to ask questions, explore data and understand how things could work better.
  • Excited by technology – interested in learning tools such as Python and SQL and exploring how AI is changing the way we work.
  • Ready to Dream Big – curious and ambitious, willing to challenge existing thinking and make progress even when the answer isn’t obvious.
  • Prepared to Own It – willing to take initiative, take responsibility for outcomes and follow things through.
  • Motivated to Win Together – collaborative, open to different perspectives and focused on achieving great outcomes with others.

What can Zopa offer you?

  • £45,000 starting salary + £5,000 signing bonus.
  • Up to 10% annual discretionary bonus.
  • Hybrid working.
  • A structured graduate training programme and ongoing development opportunities.
  • Industry-leading benefits.
  • A spacious, open-plan office with private terraces in Canary Wharf.
  • Real ownership from day one.

At Zopa we value flexible ways of working. We value face-to-face collaboration and a good work-life balance. This hybrid role requires you to come to our London office 2-3 days a week. You'll also have the option of working from abroad for up to 120 days a year!
