We're looking for a Procurement Manager to join our growing team, driving strategic procurement initiatives and supplier risk management in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and run strategic implementation projects within the business to improve efficiencies.
- Supervise and perform supplier relationship management activity in line with PRA & FCA regulations, overseeing a robust supplier management programme covering contract obligations, service levels, due diligence, renewal and exit planning.
- Support senior internal stakeholders in executing supplier management policies and procedures, ensuring commercial performance oversight is balanced with operational risk management.
- Engage internal stakeholders and external suppliers to identify and execute costâefficiency improvements, balancing optimisation with risk management.
- Work closely with the 2nd Line Risk team daily to ensure alignment with internal controls.
- Create regular management information for business stakeholders, Risk Management and the Board Risk Committee.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of frameworks and processes that manage suppliers for performance, risk and value.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience successfully managing crossâcategory supplier relationships with close business partnership.
- Experience running procurement tenders and understanding risks and governance for supplier onboarding (banking experience preferred but not required).
- Extensive supplier relationship management (SRM) experience.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with supplier onboarding and governance.
- Process implementation experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong subjectâmatter expertise in commercial and operational risk management of suppliers across a range of categories.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with business stakeholders and hold them to account.
- Strong problemâsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Desirable knowledge of PRA, FCA regulations, PRA Outsourcing & TPRM requirements, EBA Outsourcing Guidelines and FCA SYSC8; willingness to quickly learn and apply these frameworks is sufficient if not already possessed.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom or the country of choice.
