We're looking for a Procurement Manager to join our growing team, driving strategic procurement initiatives and supplier risk management in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and run strategic implementation projects within the business to improve efficiencies.
  • Supervise and perform supplier relationship management activity in line with PRA & FCA regulations, overseeing a robust supplier management programme covering contract obligations, service levels, due diligence, renewal and exit planning.
  • Support senior internal stakeholders in executing supplier management policies and procedures, ensuring commercial performance oversight is balanced with operational risk management.
  • Engage internal stakeholders and external suppliers to identify and execute cost‐efficiency improvements, balancing optimisation with risk management.
  • Work closely with the 2nd Line Risk team daily to ensure alignment with internal controls.
  • Create regular management information for business stakeholders, Risk Management and the Board Risk Committee.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of frameworks and processes that manage suppliers for performance, risk and value.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience successfully managing cross‐category supplier relationships with close business partnership.
  • Experience running procurement tenders and understanding risks and governance for supplier onboarding (banking experience preferred but not required).
  • Extensive supplier relationship management (SRM) experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with supplier onboarding and governance.
  • Process implementation experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong subject‐matter expertise in commercial and operational risk management of suppliers across a range of categories.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with business stakeholders and hold them to account.
  • Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Desirable knowledge of PRA, FCA regulations, PRA Outsourcing & TPRM requirements, EBA Outsourcing Guidelines and FCA SYSC8; willingness to quickly learn and apply these frameworks is sufficient if not already possessed.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom or the country of choice.
