Our analysts are a mix of creative problem solvers and number whizzes with a passion for translating numbers into business opportunities and delivering insights to drive decision‑making. They are strong communicators who can tell stories with data to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. We are currently looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to join our Customer team. This role sits at the centre of how we evolve Zopa's marketing function to a high‑performing growth engine.

Responsibilities

  • Generate key insight from internal and external data sources and tooling to inform, refine and optimise marketing channel strategies.
  • Pair with marketing managers and specialists to design, implement and evaluate A/B and multivariate testing across customer journeys (e.g. onboarding, engagement, retention and cross‑sell).
  • Model and forecast the impact of changes that you are driving through analysis.
  • Own the development of a structured incrementality testing framework.
  • Contribute to attribution, cross‑product and lifecycle analytics, looking horizontally across engagement, retention and cross‑sell rather than purely at individual journeys.
  • Take ownership of analytical projects and identify new and exciting growth and engagement opportunities through analysis.
  • Monitor key marketing metrics to understand how the function is performing and regularly present this to marketing managers and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Extensive analytical experience and excellent attention to detail, working with large datasets and campaign performances.
  • Strong quantitative background and natural curiosity about turning data into insight to support decision‑making.
  • Experience using SQL and/or Natural Language Query (NLQ).
  • Ability to communicate insights succinctly, focus on key results and influence at all levels.
  • Strong relationship building and cross‑team collaboration, comfortable challenging assumptions when needed while maintaining respect and empathy.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, with the judgement to know when to seek support and drive work forward independently.
  • Growth mindset and continuous learning orientation.
  • Experience working in cross‑functional teams with diverse skillsets to develop products and customer journeys.

Bonus

  • Exposure to Python or statistical analysis.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker or Power BI.
  • Understanding of customer segmentation or experimentation frameworks.

Benefits

  • Hybrid working model: come to our London office 2‑3 days a week and work from abroad for up to 120 days a year.

Diversity Statement

Zopa is proud to offer a workplace free from discrimination. Diversity of experience, perspectives, and backgrounds leads to better products for our customers and a unique company culture. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and provide reasonable adjustments if required.
