Overview
As our Product Marketing Lead you’ll set the direction for how one or more of Zopa’s product domains show up in the market, shaping propositions, narratives and go-to-market strategies that drive meaningful customer and commercial impact.
You will report into the Head of Product Marketing and collaborate with Product Directors, and senior stakeholders across Marketing, Growth, Design, Content and Comms.
This is a high‑impact role at the intersection of strategy and craft, combining direction with hands‑on execution when required.
Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end product marketing strategy for a complex product domain or portfolio, aligned to business KPIs and product strategy.
- Define clear positioning, propositions and messaging frameworks that scale across products, features and customer journeys.
- Act as the senior product marketing voice in product strategy discussions, prioritising work with a data‑led perspective on the roadmap.
- Partner deeply with Product and Design; embed with Product Directors and Design Leads to ensure products are marketable by design.
- Co‑create and stress‑test feature concepts, value propositions and customer narratives before build.
- Help teams navigate trade‑offs between customer value, differentiation, complexity and speed.
- Lead go‑to‑market at scale and manage high‑stakes or high‑complexity launches end‑to‑end, shaping the GTM approach.
- Partner with Growth, Performance Marketing, CRM, Brand & Creative and Comms to deliver joined‑up, customer‑first campaigns.
- Think beyond launch to building engaging, relevant and valuable customer relationships across the lifecycle.
- Raise the bar for product marketing and act as a role model and multiplier for the wider PMM team by sharing frameworks, feedback and best practices.
- Improve how we use insight, testing, performance data and learning loops across product marketing.
- Represent Product Marketing internally as a strategic discipline, influencing senior stakeholders with clear thinking, crisp storytelling and evidence‑based recommendations.
Qualifications
- Deep experience in product marketing within a product‑led, customer‑centric business (B2C, fintech or adjacent).
- Experience owning product marketing for complex products or portfolios, not just single launches.
- Strong capabilities in strategy and positioning as well as clear, compelling copy and narrative.
- End‑to‑end thinking from early product shaping through GTM and post‑launch optimisation.
- Ability to influence senior product and marketing leaders and work effectively across cross‑functional teams.
