Frontend Engineer

• A day in the life
• Build and enhance customer‑facing and internal web applications using Next. js, React, Type Script and Graph QL, delivering features across multiple products and business areas.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing and Backend teams to create intuitive, accessible and high‑performing user experiences.
• Contribute to our frontend platform by improving reusable components, shared libraries and engineering best practices that help teams move faster.
• Optimize application performance, reliability and accessibility, using data, experimentation and customer feedback to continuously improve our products.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD and observability, helping maintain high engineering standards while learning from experienced teammates.
• Take ownership of your work, proactively identifying opportunities to improve our applications, developer experience and ways of working.

About You

• Commercial experience building modern web applications using React, Type Script and Next. js.
• A solid understanding of frontend engineering principles, including component‑based architecture, state management and responsive, accessible UI development.
• Experience working collaboratively with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver high‑quality customer experiences.
• An interest in writing clean, maintainable code and continuously improving application performance, reliability and developer experience.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices, including testing, Git, CI/CD and Agile delivery.
• A proactive mindset with a genuine curiosity to learn, solve problems and continue developing as an engineer.

• Experience with Graph QL and observability tools such as Honeycomb or Grafana.
• Working on customer‑facing products within fintech, regulated industries or fast‑growing technology businesses.
• Contributing to shared libraries, design systems or platform tooling that helps improve engineering productivity.
• Work arrangements

Hybrid role requiring presence in our London office 2‑3 days a week.

Option to work from abroad for up to 120 days a year, subject to having the right to work in the country of choice.
