The Membership & Growth team sits at the heart of Zopa's product ecosystem. We are part of the Product Enablement tribe, responsible for building and maintaining the central services that power every product across the business. Our focus is customer data for the whole bank – identity, income, marketing preferences and more – which supports decisions, launches and cross‑sell strategies.
A day in the life:
- Shape the strategy and own & prioritise the roadmap for core customer data services across Zopa.
- Work closely with engineers to improve system resilience and evolve legacy services.
- Partner with product teams to understand their data needs and challenges.
- Identify opportunities to solve multiple problems with scalable, reusable solutions.
- Balance technical improvements with clear business value and outcomes.
- Collaborate with teams such as data, privacy and product marketing on cross‑functional initiatives.
- Support key business priorities such as cross‑sell by improving data quality and accessibility.
- Act as the connective tissue between teams, joining the dots across different product needs.
Qualifications:
- Product management experience and comfort owning and delivering roadmaps.
- Experience working on backend services or platforms and understanding how systems operate.
- Strong systems thinking – understanding component interactions and scalability.
- Technically minded with a focus on business impact.
- Proactive and curious, driven to learn and build domain expertise.
- Experience with both legacy and modern systems.
- Stakeholder management skills and ability to prioritise across competing needs.

Benefits and Requirements:
This hybrid role requires you to come to our London office 2‑3 days a week; you also have the option of working from abroad for up to 120 days a year. You’ll have everything you need to thrive, both in your work and home life, from day one. Subject to having the right to work in the country of choice.
