You’ll own our dealer sales strategy end-to-end, leading the sales team, driving commercial performance, building strong partner relationships, and ensuring sustainable, profitable growth. This is an exciting opportunity to make a visible impact in one of the UK’s highest-growth FinTech businesses.

A day in the life:

  • Lead, coach and grow the Auto Sales team, fostering a high-performance and data-driven culture that embraces tools, automation and continuous improvement while defining the organisational structure to deliver the overarching sales strategy.
  • Build and refine dealer acquisition and account management frameworks, creating scalable playbooks to drive loan volume, conversion, and profitability.
  • Use data and insights to define KPIs, optimise performance, and influence strategy across Auto and the wider Zopa ecosystem.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Credit Strategy, Operations, and Product to enhance our dealer proposition and consistently deliver profitability and improved customer outcomes.
  • Represent Zopa externally with key dealer groups and partners, positioning us as the UK’s most trusted and innovative auto finance provider.

About you:

  • Experience in scaling finance originations through dealer partnerships within the auto sector.
  • Proven track record of building, leading, and motivating high-performing sales teams in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience defining and owning targets and performance outcomes, while balancing short-term goals with long-term strategic impact.
  • Analytical and data-driven — you turn data and insights into clear actions that drive business performance.
  • Highly structured thinker, with experience of building and refining processes to drive maximum impact.
  • Excellent communicator, able to influence and build trusted partnerships externally.
  • Self-starter mindset - proactive, organised, and outcome-focused. You’ll know when to collaborate and when to take ownership.

There is an expectation of regular travel to key partners and events as required alongside regular visits to our London office.
