We are looking for a Tracking Expert at Zooplus to join our Marketing team. As a domain expert in marketing, web tracking, data analytics and with tag manager know‑how, you will work in Munich and become one of the key players in our data‑driven marketing team. You will create insights that influence how we make marketing investment decisions with an international impact. Working on a variety of new challenges and interesting projects, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, Merchandising and IT. Good communication skills, especially with non‑technical colleagues, are a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Own tracking of various marketing campaigns (digital, offline and onsite) for Zooplus domains.
- Configure, monitor and debug our Google Analytics GA4 implementation across 20+ countries.
- Create and implement tracking plans to capture relevant user behaviour data (new events, new parameters) for GA4 in coordination with the Product team.
- Perform regular data quality checks to ensure tracking functions correctly.
- Query GA4 data in BigQuery and analyse it via reporting tools such as Tableau.
- Coordinate projects across product, marketing and analytics teams, managing stakeholder interests and providing ongoing feedback.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify dependencies, bottlenecks and blockers, ensuring execution of a well‑coordinated project plan.
- Serve as the main point of contact for any tracking‑related questions from the marketing department.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed studies in engineering, data analytics, business, mathematics, statistics or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience with Google Analytics (GA4 a plus), Google Tag Manager, BigQuery and cookie consent management.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics (Big Plus) and app tracking/MMPs such as Adjust, Appsflyer, Kochava (Big Plus).
- Good knowledge of paid advertising and implementation of tracking snippets for Google and Meta (others are a plus).
- Advanced knowledge in definition, roll‑out and implementation of tracking concepts across multiple platforms (web/app).
- High affinity toward e‑commerce.
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds in an international environment.
- Business fluent in English.
