Business Development Manager – New Homes
Zoopla is one of the UK\’s most instantly recognisable property brands. In fact, we’re known and loved by over 91% of the nation (and we’re working hard on the other 9%). Our mission is to help the nation make better home decisions – by connecting everyone to their home and giving them personalised insights to help with moving, managing or financing. Over 50 million people visit Zoopla every month to access exclusive data and information on every UK property, search over 500,000 homes for sale and rent, find the best agents and secure the latest mortgage deals.
We’re a growing, dynamic team that embraces innovation and isn’t afraid to push the boundaries. We’re only just starting our journey to redefine the digital property landscape, with much more to explore and achieve. Join us, and transform the way the nation makes home decisions.
Zoopla New Homes is one of the UK’s most trusted and innovative property marketplaces, empowering millions to make smarter decisions when buying, selling, renting or letting. But we’re more than just a portal – we’re a growth partner to estate agencies across the country, delivering cutting‑edge digital solutions that help them thrive in an ever‑evolving market.
We’re entering an exciting new phase of innovation and expansion, and we’re looking for a driven, strategic, and commercially minded Sales Executive to join our Zoopla New Homes Team. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of the property industry. This isn’t your average sales role. You’ll help launch new products, influence commercial strategy, and work directly with a broad portfolio of prospects, from new‑homes developers, Housing Associations and Build‑to‑rent developers.
We want to make Zoopla more welcoming, fair and representative every day. We’ll consider everyone who applies for this role in the same way, regardless of your ethnicity, colour, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, age, physical disability, neurodiversity status, family or parental status, or how long you’ve spent unemployed. We actively welcome your application if your demographics or background are under‑represented in the technology or property sectors.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the full sales cycle: manage deals from initial outreach and discovery through to demo, negotiation and close.
- Win new business: proactively identify, engage and convert new clients, including independents, multi‑branch businesses and franchise networks.
- Sell consultatively: understand each prospect’s goals and challenges, and position Zoopla’s suite of solutions to support their success.
- Drive revenue growth: consistently exceed individual KPIs and revenue targets, contributing to broader team and company goals.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally: partner with product, marketing and account management teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Stay commercially sharp: keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity and customer insights to refine your approach.
- Champion the brand: represent Zoopla New Homes as a trusted, credible partner within the estate agency and proptech landscape.
What We’re Looking For
- A proven closer: you consistently exceed B2B sales targets and thrive in fast‑paced, high‑performance environments – ideally within SaaS, digital media, proptech or property.
- Experienced in complex sales: skilled at selling multi‑product solutions to a range of stakeholders, including owners, directors and senior decision‑makers.
- A strategic relationship‑builder: you know how to create value beyond the product by positioning Zoopla New Homes as a long‑term partner, not just a supplier.
- Highly self‑motivated: proactive, resilient and comfortable working autonomously in a remote‑first, high‑activity environment.
- Excellent communicator: clear and confident in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messaging to your audience.
- Tech‑savvy and organised: competent with CRM tools (Salesforce is a plus) and confident in pipeline management, forecasting and reporting.
- Data & Insight: building proposals powered by Zoopla’s unique buyer data and behavioural insights.
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated success in new business development, ideally in property, tech or digital industries.
- Confidence in selling to a diverse client base with varied needs and priorities.
- Strong commercial awareness and a solutions‑led, consultative sales style.
- High energy, adaptability and a positive mindset in a fast‑changing market.
- A collaborative approach and desire to contribute to a high‑performing team.
