The Role
We're hiring the person responsible for managing key ingredients in Zoomo's operations: spare parts and process excellence. You are directly reporting into the Country Lead / Head of Operations and will become a key part of the UK leadership team. As an Associate Operations Manager, your responsibilities include:
- UK-wide spare parts management and distribution for e-bike, e-moped and e-cargo bikes for Zoomo’s UK business
- Being the POC for central Supply Chain and Hardware teams on fleet forecasting, spare parts planning and supplier management
- Management of Zoomo's in-house parts rework team and overall responsibility for rework parts output (e.g. batteries, IoTs, controllers, displays, motors)
- Ownership of key operational excellence processes for the UK, including but not limited to relating to battery safety and system accuracy
- Working closely with the UK Head of Operations on delivering key growth or profitability projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in the wider field of business, economics or engineering) or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years experience working in an operations, inventory management or warehousing context
- Experience working with imperfect data in a fast-paced environment
- Pragmatic prioritisation, implementation and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills using spreadsheets, preferably also experienced with Bigquery and AI tools
- Experience managing projects, and building tools and processes to improve operational efficiency
- Ambitious, efficient and stable under tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- People management experience (preferred)
- Experience managing health and safety processes in an operational business (preferred)
