Prepare all the necessary documents required for smooth transit of the products from the origin to desired destination.
Review and prepare the L/C, prepare docs. under LC terms.
Monitor the end-to-end cargo delivery for import/export/local dispatch shipments, including timely updates on shipments’ tracking report, collect the shipment information from related parties and coordinate with the China export team, product lines and logistics suppliers to ensure the most efficient delivery time.
Arrange Duties and VAT payments to the customs authority.
Ensure logistics compliance and legal requirements are applied to each shipment.
Assist the warehouse team for loading/unloading operations and inventory management.
Review and analyse logistics costs and negotiate for better quotations to achieve profitable deals, while introducing new high-quality transport suppliers, customs brokers and insurance companies.
Coordinate with ports, customs, RTA and concerned government departments to ensure cargo safety, while preparing necessary records to claim compensation for damaged goods.
Participate in system training and provide the IT team with valuable modification suggestions.
Work closely with other EU logistics teams to complete cross-regional delivery.
Collect and share the most updated EU import declaration and transport regulations or knowledge with the EU logistics team.
Complete other logistics-related duties assigned by the regional manager or Chinese logistics manager (i.e. EU F-gas account set-up and carbon emission quotes purchase).
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics or related field.
- Well organised and able to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Good collaboration and teamwork.
- Very good computer literacy skills; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-mail communication.
- Fluent English communication.
