Join Fortinet, a global cybersecurity leader with over two decades of innovation, as we continue to shape the future of secure digital transformation. Our mission is to protect people, devices and data everywhere and we're looking for a talented Systems Engineer to help us deliver on that mission across the UK's Service Provider market.

We're looking for a customer-focused Systems Engineer to support our UK Service Provider business, working alongside our sales teams to engage directly with leading telecommunications service providers and network operators. In this customer-facing pre-sales role, you'll partner directly with customers to design, position and demonstrate Fortinet's market-leading cybersecurity solutions across large-scale, carrier-grade environments.

Our roles span specialisms including multi-tenant security architectures, SOC technologies, cloud security, SASE, SD-WAN, and broader cybersecurity design for service delivery. We are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the partners and customers we support.

As a Systems Engineer at Fortinet, you'll be a trusted technical advisor to our customers and account teams, working closely throughout the sales cycle to drive adoption of Fortinet's industry-leading security solutions. You'll play a key role from discovery and solution design through to proof-of-concept and deployment, helping Service Provider customers solve complex security and networking challenges with confidence.

What You'll Do

  • Lead technical engagements across the sales lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, presentations and proof-of-concepts (PoCs).
  • Partner directly with telecommunications service providers and network operators to understand their business and technical requirements, translating these into effective Fortinet solutions.
  • Design and position scalable, carrier-grade security architectures across networking, cloud and security environments.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations, architecture workshops and whiteboarding sessions to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Work cross-functionally with customers, internal account teams and Fortinet specialists to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Maintain deep expertise across Fortinet's portfolio, industry trends and emerging cybersecurity threats.
  • Support RFI/RFP responses and ensure accurate technical documentation within Salesforce.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing guidance and mentorship to colleagues and sharing best practices across the wider Systems Engineering organisation.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a pre-sales engineering, technical consulting or customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience supporting telecommunications service providers, network operators or other large-scale Service Provider environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SOC technologies and Cloud Security.
  • An understanding of carrier-grade networking, multi-tenant architectures, MPLS/IP networking, managed security services or large-scale service delivery environments would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • A desire to contribute to a high-performing and inclusive team.
  • Industry certifications such as Fortinet NSE/FCP, CISSP, CCNP or equivalent are an advantage.

You will join a collaborative team with access to continuous learning, career development and a Total Rewards package that supports your health, well-being and financial future.
