Bonsai (now part of Zoom) is hiring a Growth Marketer focused on SEO and organic acquisition to drive sustainable customer growth through search, content, and AI‑powered discovery channels. This role sits at the intersection of technical SEO, content strategy, and data‑driven experimentation. You’ll own the end‑to‑end organic growth engine—from keyword strategy and on‑page optimisation to Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) across LLM‑powered surfaces while building scalable, AI‑assisted workflows that accelerate execution. You’ll join a small, fast‑moving marketing team with significant ownership, working to increase high‑intent traffic, improve conversion rates, and continuously expand organic acquisition efficiency.

About the Team: Bonsai is a SaaS platform (now part of Zoom) that helps agencies and professional services run their entire business in one place. From proposals and contracts to invoicing, payments, projects, and time tracking, we reduce operational friction so small businesses can focus on meaningful work instead of admin. You’ll get startup energy with Zoom backing — high ownership, fast iteration, and the chance to influence a product used by thousands of businesses worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning the SEO, AEO, and organic growth strategy end‑to‑end.
  • Driving measurable improvements across technical SEO, AI search visibility, on‑page optimisation, content strategy, keyword targeting, and organic acquisition performance.
  • Developing and executing strategies for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), improving brand visibility and discoverability across LLM‑powered surfaces.
  • Executing SEO initiatives across website architecture, landing pages, content creation and optimisation, internal linking, and search visibility improvements to increase high‑intent traffic and conversions.
  • Monitoring and optimising website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, continuously improving rankings, CTR, traffic quality, and conversion rates.
  • Conducting in‑depth keyword research, competitive SEO analysis, and SERP/LLM landscape audits to surface high‑impact opportunities and inform content and acquisition priorities.
  • Building and leveraging AI‑powered workflows to accelerate execution—from content briefs and page optimisation to performance reporting and audits, reducing manual overhead and increasing output velocity.
  • Analysing growth and SEO performance deeply to surface insights, identify scalable acquisition opportunities, and improve CAC efficiency through organic channels.
  • Partnering cross‑functionally with product, content, and paid acquisition to align organic strategy with broader growth priorities and supporting initiatives across lifecycle and conversion optimisation where relevant.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3–4 years of experience in growth marketing with a focus on SEO.
  • Hands‑on experience with SEO strategy and execution, including technical SEO, on‑page optimisation, keyword research, content optimisation, and organic growth initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SEO, AEO, and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Mixpanel, and Amplitude.
  • Strong analytical mindset to analyse SEO, traffic, conversion, and funnel performance data.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn new tools, experiment rapidly, and take ownership.
  • Experience in SaaS or tech industry (internships or full‑time roles).
  • Familiarity with content marketing and AI‑assisted content workflows.
