We’re hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer with advanced React Native expertise to lead our mobile and desktop applications. You’ll work across core areas like proposals, contracts, invoicing, payments, time tracking, tasks, and projects—mainly on mobile and desktop, with some web exposure. You’ll own both implementation and technical direction. You’ll build and improve our React Native apps while ensuring a smooth cross-platform experience. Responsibilities
- Owning and evolving the mobile and desktop frontend architecture using React Native, balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability.
- Implementing and deciding on React Native patterns, navigation strategies, state management, and native module integrations.
- Building and evolving our cross-platform design system and component library using React Native and TypeScript.
- Partnering with Product and Design to define mobile UX patterns, elevate usability, and ensure platform-appropriate experiences.
- Contributing to code reviews and knowledge sharing with other engineers.
- Establishing best practices for mobile performance optimization, testing, accessibility, and cross-platform reliability.
- Collaborating with backend teams to design clean, efficient API contracts optimized for mobile data flows.
- Contributing to roadmap planning and breaking down ambiguous mobile-first problems into actionable work.
What we’re looking for
- Have extensive experience building and shipping production React Native applications for iOS and Android.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of owning complex mobile features or driving major technical initiatives in React Native.
- Show deep understanding of React Native architecture, navigation, state management, and mobile performance optimization.
- Make pragmatic decisions in ambiguous environments with high autonomy.
- Have experience with native modules, platform-specific APIs, and cross-platform development challenges.
- Apply solid understanding of mobile testing strategies, accessibility standards (iOS/Android), and app store deployment processes.
- Build SaaS products; familiarity with workflows like billing, contracts, or payments is advantageous.
- React web experience is valuable for occasional web contributions.
