Physical Security Technology and Operations Specialist

b Overview /b p In this role you shape Zoom’s global physical security infrastructure, spanning offices, data centers, and protective technologies. You’ll lead design and deployment of security solutions, support 24/7 business resilience, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to safeguard people and operations. You’ll drive security planning for office design and large-scale changes, ensuring protection-in-depth across locations. This London-based position combines technical depth with stakeholder leadership in a fast-growing, multinational environment. You’ll work on impactful, scalable solutions that align with Zoom’s security posture and mission. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Design and propose integrated physical security solutions for deterrence, delay, detection, and response across Zoom locations /li li Lead design reviews with stakeholders for security systems and ensure compliance with standards /li li Prepare RFPs with technical requirements and cost estimates; manage procurement, BOMs, and vendor QA /li li Oversee installation, testing, and acceptance of security deployments and upgrades /li li Own lifecycle management of physical security assets, including SOPs, audits, maintenance, and training /li li Manage the physical security systems budget and contribute to policy and technology strategy /li li Provide 24/7 operational support for global sites and coordinate across time zones /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 5+ years of experience in physical security for a private sector multinational company /li li Expertise in AACS, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems; experience leading design/implementation /li li Familiarity with vulnerability/threat assessments, incident management, site assessments, and security operations in enterprise environments /li li Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience (IT, Workplace, Facilities, EHS, external vendors) /li li Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Asana, and Adobe; ability to produce SOPs, RFPs, and BOMs /li li Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) or equivalent /li li Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent experience; ability to travel globally /li /ul ul li Stakeholder management /li li Clear communication /li li Cross-functional collaboration /li li AACS (Automated Access Control Systems) /li li CCTV /li li Intrusion detection /li /ul
