We’re proud to be working with a prestigious, fast growing automotive logistics business in Kettering that’s setting the bar for service excellence. With an unwavering focus on client satisfaction and operational brilliance, they are now seeking an experienced Automotive Transport Planner to lead a high performing driver team of up to 50 HGV Drivers and deliver best in class results.

The Transport Planner role is a hands on in a modern, high energy office, working with a motivated, professional team that thrives on performance, detail and delivery of an elite customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Route plan and allocate daily vehicle movements for a fleet of up to 50 HGV drivers using our HNF system.
  • Build and coordinate efficient, time critical loads and movements for high net worth individuals and premium businesses.
  • Be a key communicator supporting your drivers on the road and liaising with high value automotive accounts to ensure a seamless, premium service.
  • Handle operational issues with speed and clarity, ensuring daily delivery targets are met.
  • Track driver holidays, manage unplanned absences, and assist with resourcing during volume fluctuations.
  • Collaborate with a sharp, ambitious team committed to excellence.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Automotive Transport Planning experience in the UK (essential).
  • A confident, professional phone manner with an ability to communicate effectively with drivers and VIP clients alike.
  • Excellent route planning and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A hands on, team focused approach, ready to jump in and solve challenges head on.
  • European planning experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Own transport and full UK driving licence required.
