Electrical Maintenance Supervisor - Heavy Industry Rugby £50,000–£55,000 + Excellent Suite of Benefits Permanent & Contract (Day Rate) x2 Roles Available Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor or Electrical Team Leader from a heavy industrial or process environment? We’re recruiting for a major UK industrial business in Rugby and are keen to hear from candidates with backgrounds in cement, aggregates, quarrying, asphalt, minerals, power generation, waste-to-energy, recycling, steel or heavy manufacturing. Experience with businesses such as Tarmac, Breedon, Heidelberg Materials, Aggregate Industries/Holcim, CRH, quarrying or other large process/manufacturing operators would be highly relevant. This is a hands-on supervisory role leading electrical maintenance activity across a large operational site. What we’re looking for * Electrical apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC/HND or equivalent * Strong heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience * Supervisory or team leadership experience * HV experience, ideally up to 11kV * Industrial motors, switchgear and electrical distribution * VSD/VFD drive experience * Planned and reactive maintenance * Strong fault finding and breakdown experience * Experience supervising engineers and contractors * Good health & safety knowledge * IOSH/NEBOSH advantageous * SAP maintenance experience useful Cement or aggregates experience is advantageous, but not essential. We are equally interested in strong candidates from other heavy process environments. The role You’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day electrical maintenance, supporting breakdowns, improving plant reliability, allocating labour, managing contractors and helping deliver major shutdown activity safely and efficiently. Hours Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm Friday 8:00am–3:30pm On-call approximately 1 week in 7. Salary Up to £55,000, depending on experience, plus benefits.
