We are looking for an experienced Plant Supervisor on behalf of our multinational manufacturing client ideally with industry knowledge within Construction and Building Supplies. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach whilst being reliable and proactive.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for your own Health & Safety and any visitors or contractors to site.
  • Ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
  • Complete weekly and monthly stock checks.
  • Control drivers, visitors and contractors coming onto site, projecting a professional image and ensuring that sites rules are always complied with.
  • Work with management and contractors to control and organise plant maintenance as required.
  • General housekeeping and site improvements.
  • Servicing and the refurbishment of silos.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Plant Supervisor
  • Industry Knowledge (Building / Concrete / Mortar Production)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
  • A good level of physical fitness
  • A basic understanding of Batching Systems (Beneficial)

For the Plant Supervisor we are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has excellent interpersonal skills. You will need to have a commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

This position will be on a two-shift basis operating between the hours of 5am-10pm, to start the shift pattern will be 6am-4pm working Monday to Friday. They are offering the annual salary circa of £37k and this is based on a 48-hour working week.
