A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Junior Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company in Erith. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a career in mechanical engineering, a great start-out position to get your foot in the door to build your experience. You will be trained by a senior engineer to give a solid understanding of how the equipment works from the operator's perspective, which will be essential as you progress into the engineering side.

We’re seeking a hands-on and motivated Trainee or Junior Engineer to join our client in Belvedere. The role offers excellent learning and development opportunities, with the long-term goal of taking on key responsibilities as part of their engineering support team.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the maintenance, servicing, and repair of production machinery
  • Support the development and modification of equipment and tooling
  • Contribute to general site maintenance and engineering support
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure minimal downtime
  • Participate in machine operation when required, depending on workload
  • Learn from and be mentored by our senior engineer

You will need to have some engineering experience, either a qualification in this or aiming towards completing one. Working hours, if not in education, will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm. If you are in education, these roles can be reduced to fit around your studies as a qualification is desirable, and the company is willing to support until completed.
