We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 Wagon & Drag Drivers to join our client based in Gravesend. This role involves roll-on roll-off (RoRo) work and offers consistent hours, competitive pay and additional benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Class 1 wagon & drag vehicles
- Carrying out roll-on roll-off (RoRo) work safely and efficiently
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
- Adhering to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company procedures
- Maintaining a high standard of professionalism when representing the company
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 1 year’s experience driving:
- Wagon & Drag
- Ro Ro (Roll-on Roll-off)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of UK driving regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Pay & Benefits:
- £17 per hour (standard rate)
- £20 per hour overtime (after 50 hours and Saturdays)
- Average 50-hour work week
- Saturday shifts: every other weekend
- Christmas bonus
- Quarterly team meals/social events
