The Assembly & Machine Operative role will involve:
- Testing printed circuit boards / metal fabrication of panel boards / handling metal materials
- Checking and testing manufactured products
- Fault finding
- Setting machinery and assembly
You will be required to:
- Meet specific departmental and company targets
- Follow systems and procedures within the department, adhering to all health and safety regulations, housekeeping, work instructions, and quality checking
- Engage in assembly work and machine operating roles as well as PCB testing
Skills & Experience required:
- Computer literate with basic mathematics
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy; previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
- Experience using similar machinery is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
- Able to understand mechanical drawings / artwork is preferred but not essential
Hours of Work: Mon - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 or late shift 14:00 - 22:00 (training will be provided on day shift 08:00 - 16:30 for the first 2 weeks)
Paying a competitive hourly rate of £11.44 - £12.89 per hour.
