We are working on behalf of a global leader based in St Helens to find a proactive and highly organised Transport Planner to join their logistics team. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating deliveries, ensuring the products reach customers safely and on time. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting operational performance and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule daily transport operations, maximising fleet efficiency and utilisation.
- Liaise with drivers, customers and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Monitor delivery performance and respond to unexpected changes or delays.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.
- Resolve delivery-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function.
We are looking for someone with experience in transport planning or a similar logistics role with strong organisational and problem-solving skills. This is a Monday to Friday full-time permanent opportunity with a salary of Β£30-32k PA.
