My client based in Bedford are looking for Experienced Class 2 Drivers to join them on a temp to perm basis. This HGV Driver role is working 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, start time no earlier than 4:30am.
Key Accountabilities:
- Driving HGV CLASS 2 lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to customers.
- Supporting the Drivers Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock at leisure and catering establishments.
- Building great working relationships with both customers and other departments.
- Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time deliveries.
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
- Up to date knowledge of driving (health and safety) legislation.
- Heavy lifting involved so must be ok with this.
- Knowledge of local region.
- Great customer service.
- Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.
- Must be happy with early starts.
This is working 48 hours per week, working predominantly on a Monday to Friday. Overtime available. Start times to vary however, no earlier than 4.30am.
