Zoom are recruiting for our client, a leading catering distribution company who are seeking skilled and experienced 7.5T drivers to join their professional team in Charlton. This is a customer facing role and you will act as a representative for the company, not just a delivery driver.
As a 7.5T multi-drop driver, you will be expected to deliver a range of parcels & goods to commercial customers. This role will include:
- Route planning
- Completion of paperwork
- Parcel & vehicle checks
- Making deliveries / collections
- Providing the best possible customer service
Additional responsibilities include:
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any faults to the Line Manager
- Ensuring that the Company vehicle is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition
- Loading goods safely onto the vehicle for delivery
- Ensuring all scheduled deliveries are completed on time
- Completing all Proof Of Delivery paperwork
- Presenting a professional image to the customer by being pleasant and courteous at all times
- Wearing Company uniform at all times and keeping it clean and tidy
- Fuel efficiency & safe driving
Driver Hours: Monday to Friday 6AM starts (usually back by 2-3pm). 7.5T drivers are paid a minimum of 8 hours each day.
