It requires someone with initiative, a methodical work approach, and experience in manual labour, including some heavy lifting and working with their hands. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport and set up modular exhibition stands at various trade shows and events across the UK.
  • Work independently on smaller installations and as part of a team (4-5 people) for larger events.
  • Plan and execute the assembly and disassembly of stands methodically.
  • Drive company van to deliver finished display stands to customers.
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are transported safely and securely.
  • Work flexible hours, including some weekends, evenings, early mornings, and occasional overnight stays.
  • Using a company van and ensure it is kept in good condition.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service during installations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in manual labour, including some heavy lifting and working with hands.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and methodically plan work.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and travel extensively.
  • Clean or nearly clean driving license is essential.
  • Experience traveling to different venues to assemble or install is preferred.
  • No technical skills required; full training will be provided.
  • Must live within reasonable traveling distance to Hazel Grove, Stockport, and have their own means of transport to get to and from the warehouse and production facility.

Benefits:

  • Although this role is for 9 months a year, salary can be split over 12 months if preferred.
  • Company van supplied for travel to and from venues.
  • All travel expenses paid, including hotels and a subsistence allowance for overnight stays.
  • Flexibility with having time off during quieter periods (December, January, and August).
  • Opportunity to work in a variety of locations across the UK.

Ideal Candidate:

This role will suit someone who enjoys manual work, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a flexible working environment. The ideal candidate will appreciate the balance of having busy seasons with lots of work and quieter periods to enjoy time off, while still receiving a regular income. If you have a nearly clean driving license and experience in traveling to different venues for assembly or installation work, we would love to hear from you. Additionally, candidates must live within reasonable traveling distance to Hazel Grove, Stockport, and have their own means of transport to commute to and from work.
