We are looking for a self‑motivated, organised, process‑oriented graduate to join our established Delivery Team and expand our capacity to deliver successful digital projects for high‑profile clients like United Nations, Oxfam and UCL. This role provides an exciting opportunity to learn all about agile delivery and join our team of talented individuals. Supported by our Delivery Director and Delivery Managers you’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day delivery of projects for both new and existing projects, working alongside clients from a broad range of industries and sectors.
Responsibilities
- Using our agile delivery processes to manage and deliver project work on a day to day basis
- Working closely with our Resource Manager and the wider Delivery team to appropriately and efficiently resource projects
- Providing excellent customer service and establishing constructive relationships with our clients
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our agile delivery processes
The Role
As a Delivery Manager at Zoocha, you will be responsible for the resourcing and successful delivery of our projects – on time, within budget and in line with our quality standards. Developing your understanding of Delivery Management & Scrum, you will be expected to focus on learning our agile project management processes and what good looks like as your first priority.
Some key areas include:
- Understanding agile principles and why they are the backbone of software delivery
- Learning specifically about Scrum and its practical application at Zoocha, achieving Scrum Alliance certification
- Becoming fluent in the language of agile delivery and concepts like the importance of the Definition of Sprint Ready and the Definition of Done
Training in this area will be provided through a combination of 1-2-1 sessions, shadowing other team members and independent learning, alongside hands‑on opportunities with smaller scale projects or suitable tasks.
Collaborating internally with Zoocha teams
In order to deliver against client expectations, you will be required to efficiently resource tasks and projects, taking into consideration skill‑set and task interdependencies. As part of this, you will need to understand the wider business priorities beyond your own client roadmaps and be able to work closely with your fellow Delivery Managers in order to deliver against said priorities – for example, participating in group resource negotiations as part of scheduling sessions. In addition, depending on the scope of the project you are managing, you will need to be able to communicate effectively with team members from all departments and levels of seniority.
Establishing productive working relationships with Zoocha clients
As a Delivery Manager you are often the bridge between the client and the delivery team, therefore it is important that you are able to build strong relationships with the clients that you work with. Specifically this would include:
- Entering all engagements with a positive and collaborative mindset
- Capturing and circulating meaningful and complete actions and next steps
- Understanding your client’s goals and focus areas
- Clearly communicating risks and opportunities
This is a hybrid working role, with the flexibility to work remotely some of the time, but with an expectation that you’ll be based at our Hertford office at least two days per week. Some travel to clients is also expected.
Mandatory requirements
- You MUST be based in the UK, ideally within regular commuting distance of our Hertford office; Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- You MUST have a VISA or work permit already.
- You MUST NOT apply through a recruitment consultant as your application will be disregarded.
Must have skills and experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- A keen understanding of what great customer service looks like.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with confidence to communicate at senior manager and director level within large organisations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to elicit and analyse information from a variety of sources, presenting it to the relevant audience in an appropriate and understandable form.
- A keen interest in technology and its application in solving business problems.
Why work at Zoocha?
- Flexible working plus the ability to work from any of our offices (UK, Spain, Brazil) for periods of time.

- An inclusive workplace with active advocacy networks for women, LGBTQI employees and people from ethnic minorities.
