Our OEM Client based in Gaydon is searching for a Functional Safety Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a 12-month contract position initially until 31st March 2026, with the potential for further extensions.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.

The Senior Functional Safety Engineer Lead will perform functional safety activities across the software organization to design safety into our platform software.

Skills Required:

  • Software Requirements and Architecture
  • Functional Safety (ISO26262) experience at Software Level
  • SW Functional Safety Analyses (FMEA, FTA, DFA)

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in Automotive Functional Safety development for ASIL B SW Architecture
  • A-SPICE
  • MISRA C/C++

Experience Preferred:

  • AUTOSAR ASW/BSW
  • MBSE
  • Verification Review
  • Confirmation Reviews
