Zonecrew Ltd is a growing, multidisciplinary construction and refurbishment company delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the UK. Our services include new builds, renovations, bathrooms, kitchens, extensions, loft conversions, landscaping, and full property refurbishments. With expansion plans underway, we are seeking experienced professionals to support our next phase of growth.
The Role: We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Building Services Engineer / Project Manager to lead technical delivery and manage end-to-end projects. This role combines strong building services expertise with hands-on project management responsibility, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and coordination of HVAC, public health, electrical, and building services systems
- Manage projects from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and handover
- Prepare drawings, specifications, BOQs, schedules, and quotations
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and multi-trade contractors
- Ensure compliance with CIBSE guidance, UK Building Regulations, and health & safety standards
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and successful delivery
- Oversee quality control, inspections, and corrective actions
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers and site staff
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Building Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ UK experience in building services / construction projects
- Strong knowledge of CIBSE Guides, British Standards, and UK regulations
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other related design tools
- Proven experience across residential, commercial, and refurbishment projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Project management and Coordination experience
- MBA or business management knowledge and experience
- Project management or contract administration experience
