Zone3 is a British-owned triathlon and swim brand, built over a decade of organic growth on the strength of our products and the word of the athletes who use them. We design wetsuits, triwear, cycle wear, swimwear and accessories that are tested in the water and trusted in competition. Our range is available online, through more than 50 UK retailers, and in over 30 countries worldwide. We're a close-knit team working at pace, with a clear ambition: to become the world's leading triathlon brand. The culture is supportive, performance-led and built on the belief that better products come from people who care about getting the detail right.

You’ll run the day-to-day of our global ecommerce sites. This is a hands-on role: you trade the websites, read the metrics, and act on what the data tells you to grow conversion and revenue. A part-time assistant supports you with merchandising, copy and image updates, but the daily running of the sites is yours, with the wider team behind you on the bigger picture. This is a first manager-level role, suited to someone ready to take their next step in ecommerce, with the room and support to grow into it.

Two things sit at the centre of the role: SEO and CRO. You’ll have a firm handle on both, owning onsite and technical SEO and running a continuous cycle of testing and optimisation to lift our conversion rates and hit our D2C sales targets. We’re a brand store, not a retail store. The site should teach and inspire as much as it sells, helping people understand the products and the thinking behind them. Experience with brand-led ecommerce, and an instinct for storytelling, will serve you well here.

What you’ll do

  • Run the day-to-day of our global Shopify Plus sites: range plan, product launches, category builds, uploads, product detail maintenance and promotional activity
  • Own onsite merchandising, search and navigation, plus upsell and cross-sell
  • Keep product information accurate and well presented across markets
  • Own onsite and technical SEO, with a clear roadmap of improvements
  • Run a structured programme of CRO testing and act on the results to drive continuous improvement
  • Stay across the key metrics daily, conducting deep dives to understand shopping behaviour and trends
  • Build a deep understanding of our customer and what they want from the site
  • Work with our development agency to scope and manage site developments and fixes
  • Run onsite personalisation through the wider tech stack
  • Lead UAT for development projects and regular site walks for accuracy
  • Work with marketing on rich landing pages and content stories
  • Work with customer service so the customer voice feeds back into the site
  • Work to D2C sales targets across our markets
  • Spot and act on commercial opportunities onsite, maximising the value of every visit

Working here

The salary range for the role is £38k to £42k depending on experience. We're based in Send, near Woking, and work hybrid: two days a week in the office, the rest from home. You work your 40 hours to suit you, any time between 7am and 7pm, as long as you're around for our core hours (9.30–12.30 and 2–4 each day). You'll start with 23 days' holiday, rising with length of service after two years, plus a healthcare plan. We make time to get together too: quarterly team lunches, regular socials, and an annual two-day team trip. We're a small, passionate team that cares about what we make and enjoys the work.

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years in ecommerce, ideally for a brand rather than a pure retailer
  • Strong, hands-on SEO and CRO knowledge, with real testing experience
  • Confident with Shopify (Plus ideal) and with GA4 and other analytics tools
  • Comfortable working with developers and agencies
  • Commercially minded, organised, and happy owning the day-to-day in a fast-moving team
  • Strong written skills and a feel for brand voice
  • Basic HTML a plus
  • An interest in sport or endurance a bonus, not a requirement
