Are you an experienced care leader looking for your next opportunity to make a genuine difference? We are recruiting for a compassionate and driven Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a well-established domiciliary care service in Sevenoaks.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior Care Coordinator, Care Manager, Deputy Manager, or Team Leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding person-centred care, supporting staff development, and helping people remain independent within their own homes.

The Role

Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care while supporting the day-to-day operations of the service. You will lead by example, champion excellent care standards, and help drive growth and performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager with the daily management and operation of the domiciliary care service.
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, compassionate, and person-centred care that promotes independence and dignity.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support care teams to achieve excellent outcomes for clients.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development.
  • Conduct care reviews, risk assessments, spot checks, supervisions, and quality audits.
  • Support rota management and ensure effective deployment of care staff.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and best practice standards.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
  • Monitor service quality, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to continuous service development.
  • Support business growth through exceptional customer service, occupancy development, and retention initiatives.
  • Assist with investigations, complaints management, safeguarding concerns, and incident reporting where required.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within domiciliary care at Senior Carer, Care Coordinator, Team Leader, Deputy Manager, or similar level.
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and care compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Passion for developing and supporting care teams.
  • Confidence building relationships with clients, families, and professionals.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
  • Working knowledge of care regulations and quality standards.
  • Competitive salary of Β£32,000 - Β£36,000.
