The electrical/mechanical engineer will be multi-skilled and able to conduct a range of tasks associated with electrical & mechanical systems. They will be competent to perform tasks in a proficient and efficient manner. An understanding and appreciation of cost control against time allocation is essential.
The Role and Responsibilities (not limited to) are as follows:
- Divisional responsibility;
- Provide efficient and effective support to the business in the following forms;
- Fault finding, diagnostics, repairs and installation on various forms of electrical and mechanical services, such as; LV Electrical Systems, Generators/UPS, Fire & Security Systems, Air Conditioning, Ventilation/Ducting, Pumps, Motors, BMS/Controls, Automatic Doors/Garage Doors/Gates, Plumbing, Metal Works/Fabrication, Plant & Machinery
- Complete paperwork in accordance with company and client requirements
- Provision of site information/asset verification for PPM Division
- Liaising with third party contractors and coordinating minor works when necessary
- Assist co-workers when required, such as assistance or technical support
- Compliance with legislation
- Planned Preventative Maintenance works in conjunction with Maintenance Delivery Team
- Provide support to the business in the following forms;
- Interact with other divisions (FM/Projects/Jersey counterparts); share skillsets and ensure service delivery is harmonized
- Ensure accreditations with regulatory organizations are retained and that activities associated are fulfilled and embraced.
